GREENWOOD – Skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities will show their stuff, vying for over $1,000 in cash and prizes, on Saturday at Mt. Abram during the final slope style event of the season: The 2008 Battlejib Galactic Bonk.
The event is being held in conjunction with the Annual Spring Fest, which also features a showing of “Real Time,” the latest, action-packed ski film by Level 1, at 4 p.m. just after the awards ceremony. Visitors can also catch Sly Chi, a popular Portland-based funk band that will perform on the deck of the East Lodge. Pizzas will be provided by HomeSlice, and everyone is encouraged to bring a dish or dessert, potluck style.
