WINTHROP – Winthrop Area YMCA Youth Baseball/Softball/T-Ball program is offering a last chance to register for this year’s program.
Sign-up is Wednesday, March 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the YMCA Office.

The absolute registration deadline is March 30. That is also placement day.
Players should meet during the afternoon of placement day at the following locations: Boys at Winthrop High School Gym, Girls at Winthrop Middle School.
Time schedule is as follows: 7-and-8-year-olds, 12:30 to 2 p.m.; 9-and-10-year-olds, 2 to 3:30 p.m.; 11-and-12-year-olds, 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Mexico Rec starting softball
MEXICO – Mexico Recreation and the River Valley area are looking to start a slow pitch men’s softball league. Anyone interested in playing or putting together a team is asked to call Roger at 418-8626 or Brian at 357-5541. All are welcome.
Sumner youth softball registration
SUMNER – The Town of Sumner will hold softball registrations for girls ages 7-18 and baseball registrations for boys 8-12 on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Town Office. Registration fee is $20 per child. FMI, call 388-2866.
