TURNER – A story in Wednesday’s City edition incorrectly summarized why former Selectman Dennis Richardson requested voters consider dissolving the Turner Center for the Arts Board of Directors, a topic that will be taken up at Saturday’s annual town meeting.
Richardson said his reasons for bringing the item before the town had nothing to do with his personal business, but only to do with his belief the center’s status as a town board is a conflict of interest and that the center has failed to pay the rent it agreed to at the 2006 town meeting.
No resignation
FARMINGTON – A story in Wednesday’s Franklin County edition of the Sun Journal about the United Way in Franklin County contained incorrect information. United Way board member Peggy Willihan did not resign from the board. The information was incorrectly provided to the Sun Journal.
