DIXFIELD – The new Dixfield Swasey-Torrey Post 100 American Legion baseball team will hold a mandatory kickoff meeting at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Legion Hall, 8 River Road. All eligible players ages 15 to 19 and their parents are welcome.

Swasey-Torrey Post is sponsoring an entry into Zone 3 this season. The team will draw players from the Dirigo HIgh School district towns of Peru, Carthage, Weld, Canton and Dixfield. The team is looking for 18 dedicated baseball players in the age bracket who love the game.
