AUBURN – East Auburn continued its winning ways in Auburn Suburban Little League Major Division baseball with three recent triumphs over HRH, 9-4, 7-1 and 10-5.

Corey Henderson pitched a complete-game no-hitter with 17 strikeouts to embellish the second win. Luke Sterling and Llewellyn Jensen provided repeat clouts at the plate.

Evan Raymond scored the lone run for HRH. Brian Crane, Cam Raymond, Zach Hurd and Brandon Knapp shared the pitching duties.

Luke Sterling, Seth Sterling and Jensen were repeat hitters in the first battle, with Ryan Deveau also delivering a key hit. Henderson and Seth Sterling combined to hold the HRH bats in check.

Crane provided the hitting highlights for HRH with a double and a single. Hurd cranked a triple, as well, in support of pitchers Evan Raymond and Bryce Gibson.

East Auburn continued its onslaught this week with the 10-5 verdict. Jensen closed out the game in relief for the victors, picking up Henderson and Luke Sterling.

Evan Raymond and Hurd were multiple hitters for HRH, with Crane and Knapp also contributing big hits. Crane struck out seven in four innings of work on the hill.

Henderson and Jensen provided the supreme sticks for East Auburn, with help from Seth Sterling and Matt Verrill.

Pepsi edged HRH, 6-4, in another Major matchup. Elijah Moreshead started on the mound and received late-game help from Noah Yarnevich. Ian Mileikis and C.J. Jipson each played strong defense for Pepsi in the middle infield.

Moreshead helped himself with three hits. Isaac Torres added two safeties, and Brandon Polisky tacked on another. Evan Raymond was the starting hurler for HRH before turning over to Cam Raymond and Gibson. Hurd, Knapp and Mason Bosse provided the hefty hits for HRH, with Knapp anchoring the defense.

ASLL softball

AUBURN – Kelsey Butcher struck out a dozen to push Pepsi past Gee & Bee, 10-8, in Auburn Suburban Little League softball.

Butcher also went 3-for-4 with two singles and a double, while Emily Schario reached base four times with a pair of hits and two walks. Emily Bolduc belted out two hits.

Ashlee Arnold struck out 11 for Gee & Bee. She backed up that pitching performance with a single and a triple. Kory Norcross also chipped in a base hit.

Apple Valley Babe Ruth

WINTHROP – Ryan Castonguay belted a triple to lead undefeated Winthrop past Leeds, 8-2, in Apple Valley Babe Ruth baseball. Tyler Foster added a double and Jimmy Theriault tacked on two singles for Winthrop (10-0).

Travis Luce was the winning pitcher.
