Auburn Suburban Little League’s 11-12 year old all-stars beat Lewiston’s Elliot Little League 11-12 year old all-stars 7-1 Monday evening in New Auburn.
Corey Henderson pitched 5 2/3 innings for ASLL, giving up only three hits and striking out 12. Brandon Dubuc and Brian Crane were both repeat hitters for ASLL, each getting two hits while Ian Mileikis,Corey Henderson, Mickey Lawrence and Nate Alexander also got hits for ASLL.
Michael Hammond also had a productive night at the plate, getting three walks. Cam Cormier came in pitching in relief for ASLL getting a strikeout.
Elliot’s Eddie Emerson started on the mound, pitching a good game. He left the mound after getting hit by a batted ball. After being hit, Emerson jogged to centerfield, where he finished the game. Tom Hird came in as a reliever for Elliot. Eddie Emerson also had a great night at the plate, getting two hits and driving in Elliot’s lone run. Alex Small also had a hit for Elliot.
