LEWISTON – A story on B2 of Wednesday’s City edition about Lewiston city councilors touring downtown quoted a councilor saying Community Concepts, a nonprofit, does not pay property taxes on its apartment buildings downtown. According to James Wilkins, the company does pay taxes on its residential properties but not on office buildings.
