Both ends of the golf experience spectrum celebrated holes-in-one at local courses this week.
Andrew Loisel, 10, of Lewiston, scored his first career ace Monday at Pine Acres Golf Course in Auburn. Loisel used a fairway wood on the 120-yard second hole.
James Loisel, Patrick Loisel and Butch Bernard witnessed the feat.
Francis “Red” Therrien, 85, also produced his first hole-in-one Tuesday at Maple Lane Golf Course in Livermore. Therrien achieved his shining moment at No. 5 while Paul Waldron looked on.
