LEWISTON – An article on page B1 in Monday’s Sun Journal contained incorrect information. College student Kevin McKeown is a cancer survivor, having suffered and survived childhood leukemia. According to his mother, Marguerite McKeown, he will not be able to participate in the 22nd annual Walk for the Maine Children’s Cancer Program on Saturday, Sept. 27 while he is attending college in New York; other members of the family will participate. Kathy MacDonald is the coordinator for the MCCP walk in Lewiston. The information was incorrectly reported by the Sun Journal.
