BANGOR – A story on the front page of Friday’s paper should have made clear that Republican John McCain campaigned in Maine in July as the GOP’s presumptive presidential nominee, and Democrat Barack Obama campaigned here during the Democratic caucuses last February. Neither Obama nor running mate Joe Biden has campaigned in the state since securing the party’s nomination.
