LEWISTON – Lewiston Lodge of Elks No. 371 is sponsoring a free throw shooting contest at the Auburn-Lewiston Boys and Girls club on January 03, 2009 beginning at 10 a.m. Every boy and girl in the following age groups is invited to complete:

Boys 8-9 10-11 12-13

Grils 8-9 10-11 12-13

The winners from this competition will have the opportunity to compete at the State of Maine District Contest and then the State of Maine Competition. The winners from the State Competition will compete at the National Competition at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Trophies will be awarded to the winners in each age group at each level of competition. We hope that all the young people in Lewiston-Auburn and surrounding communities will consider joining us for this day of fun.
