LEWISTON – The Lewiston Jr. Maineiacs Squirt Travel hockey team outscored its opponents by a combined margin of 22-3 in its last three victories.
Lewiston came out clicking in all phases of the game in a 4-0 triumph over the Gorham Huskies. Luc Dostie led the way with a goal and two assists. Joseph Bisson, Noah Buiniskas and Cooper Richard also lit the lamp. Bryce Leger and Ryley Austin picked up assists. Devin Dumont notched the shutout in goal.
Six first-period goals set the tone for a 10-2 rout of Casco Bay. Bisson produced a hat trick. Dostie and Cameron Dionne each added two goals. Leger logged a goal and two assists, with Conrad Grimmer and Justin Keaney each contributing a goal and an assist. Roman Dennis helped set up three goals. Richard and Buiniskas both notched a pair of assists, with single assists by Kyle Morin, Jeromey Rancourt and Austin. Kyle Welsh was the winning goalie.
Four goals in each of the first two periods led to an 8-1 breeze over Biddeford. Dostie delivered the hat trick, with Bisson, Rancourt and Keaney each adding a goal and an assist. Morin and Buiniskas rounded out the scoring. Austin, Dionne, Leger and Isaac Dube chalked up assists. Welsh narrowly missed the shutout, surrendering a goal with 1:27 remaining.
