TURNER – Jon Wallingford exploded for a league record 59 points and Patrick Dempsey followed closely with 49 as Run ‘N’ Gun lived up to its name in Leavitt Men’s Basketball League action, routing The Affiliates, 143-51. Fred Diligent led Affiliates with 34. St. Hilaire’s scored its second win of the season over Lloyds Land, 105-94. Justin Perron tallied 35 points for the Saints, backed by Josh Knowles with 14. Jerod Verrill fired up 39 points for Lloyd’s. Keith Curtis added 17.
Chris Williamson collected 26 points to help Ben Alpren edge Liberty Mutual, 67-64. Isaac Stickney led Liberty with 24.
Shooters battled hard but fell to Ranor, 112-95. Ian McCarthy led Ranor with 36 points. Matt McCarthy chipped in 25 and Aaron St. Pierre added 20. Dave St. Germain notched 40 points and Dane Pomerleau 23 for Shooters.
