LEWISTON – Three teams entered Sunday tied for first place in the Contractors’ hockey league, but only Pratt & Son’s, Inc., could claim that distinction after a wild night on the ice at Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

Pratt topped fellow frontrunner Donovan’s Motors, 9-4, to pick up a pair of points. The third team in the lead pack, Pineland Lumber, settled for an 8-8 tie with Lewiston Paint.

Federal Distributors stayed within striking distance of the leaders, as well, routing Theberge Construction, 12-3.
