AUBURN – Singer/pianist Mary Murphy will perform from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Holly’s Own Deli & Wine Bar, 84 Court St.
On March 15, she won a songwriting award from the North America Country Music Associations International for her song, “The Spirit Of Christmas Lingers,” at a ceremony in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Then she went on to South Carolina for several appearances, including Dorn V.A. in Columbia, Southland in Florence and a Gospel music appearance at Mechanicsville Baptist Church in Darlington, S.C., before heading back to Maine. She will be here until mid-May, when she will return to South Carolina for the next leg of her tour; and then it’s back to Maine for summer appearances. Locally, Murphy is a member of Down East Country Music Association and The Maine Blues Society.
