LEWISTON – LAHYL Squirt Black completed its 2008-2009 hockey season March 22 at Androscoggin Bank Colisee by finishing first in the Squirt State ‘C’ Championship.

Squirt Black also won the 37th annual Lions Tournament.

Strong goaltending by Ashton Dozois led the team to its final standing of 33-5-1.

Offensive lines consisted of Patrick Billham, Joseph Bussiere, Bobby Chabot, Ben Chasse, Brady Guimond, Zack Guimond and Ryan Kappelmann. Defensive play by Maxwell Girard, Brendon Hanlon, Chris Miller, Riley Whitcomb and Cole Ouellette was crucial to the team’s success.

Squirt Black was coached to victory by head coach Mike Dozois and assistant coaches John Girard, Dave Billham and Rick Kappelmann.
