LEWISTON – Aubuchon Hardware picked up a pair of early-season victories in the major division of Elliot Ave. Little League.

Jacob Charest hit two doubles and two singles to fuel a victory over Dube Flower. Zack Gosselin and Julian Smedley each belted two doubles and a single. Other hitters for the Toolmen included Corey Harvey, Nick Provencher, Alex Demers, Jed Drapeau, Devin Gendron, Logan Freve and Kyle Gregoire. Charest, Gosselin and Gendron shared the pitching duties. Shawn Gagnier’s home run was the big hit for Dube.

Provencher went the six-inning route while striking out 10 batters to set the pace in a 13-5 win over Anthoine Financial.

Gosselin and Charest each doubled to direct the Aubuchon offense. Smedley, Gendron, Provencher and Demers each chipped in a base hit. Matt Poulin pounded a triple for Anthoine. Chad Hinkley and Nate Mercier each contributed a double.
