Dear Sun Spots: I am looking for a space to rent that is located above
a business or a garage and with large windows. I’ve been checking the
paper, Craigslist, etc., and so far have had no luck finding such a
place. It would be just for myself. I would prefer the Lewiston-Auburn
area, but would consider other towns. I have excellent credit and

Dear Sun Spots: The Great Falls Model Railroad Club of Auburn and
Lewiston is sponsoring a “Come rain or shine” yard sale on Saturday,
Aug. 22 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the new club location, 144 Mill St. in
New Auburn, across the street from the Barker Mill.

Funds from the yard sale will help with renovations of the building.
The 85 members of the club have donated a wide variety of items for the
club’s second annual yard sale.

The nonprofit club has been active in the community for many years
with displays at libraries, schools, nursing homes and public events
such as the Balloon Festival and Santa’s arrival in Lewiston-Auburn. At
the club’s annual train show at the Auburn Middle School on the first
Saturday of November, the Auburn Music Association earns money from
refreshments. Through Auburn Adult Education, the club offers a Model
Railroading class twice a year.

“Train Time,” the club-sponsored television program, is seen on
Great Falls Television and on Time Warner cable. DVD and VHS tapes of

Dear Sun Spots: I recently tried to get on the show called “Who
Wants to be a Millionaire.” You have to take a quiz of 30 questions in
10 minutes. I thought if you missed more than nine questions you would
not pass. So I asked the staffers “What is a passing grade?” They told
me they have their own system and would not tell us what it was. Is
there a way you can find out? 

Also, there is a book out and a board game. Would you know where I
could find them? Is there a way to find out the answers to the quiz
questions they use? — No Name, No Town.

Answer: In response to your first request regarding the television show, you may want to put your concerns in writing and mail them directly to the game sponsor at Valleycrest Productions, 500 S. Buena Vista Street, MC4178, Burbank, Calif. 91521.

According to the official rules, the game sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines which applicants receive a passing score and which people have passed the audition interview.

The book “Who Wants to be a Millionaire,” includes facts about the show and how it is run, including how it was developed and the history of the show. The book is out of print, but is available at www.amazon.com. Copies are
available from sellers for as low as 49 cents! If you can’t get to a computer to order a copy, check with stores such as Mr. Paperback, Waldenbooks in the Auburn Mall or Artios Books, who may be able to help you order an out of print copy.
