JAY – A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa Ann (Dufour) Hamner of Peru, formerly of Livermore Falls, was held Friday morning at St. Rose of Lima Church, Jay, with the Revs. Thomas Lequin and Joseph Mckenna con-celebrating the Mass.
A family prayer service preceded Mass at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Road, Jay, and memorial visitation was held the afternoon and evening prior. The first reading was shared by her niece, Melissa Fournier. Her nephew, Alfred Papul Dufour III, “Opie,” recited the second reading. Her niece, Dr. Jenna Campbell, delivered a personal eulogy following Mass.
The St. Rose Resurrection Choir was under the direction of Therese Therrien. Following services, a family reception was held at LaFleur’s on Route 4, Jay.
