Frank R. Bean
RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank R. Bean was celebrated Monday at Parish of the Holy Savior Church. The Rev. James Martel was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Because the Lord Is My Shephard,” “Ave Maria” and “You Raise Me Up and Fly Like a Bird.” Readings were done by his sister-in-law Sister Arlene Legere. The eulogy was given by his daughter Peggy Perry. Pallbearers were members of the American Legion Post 24, Commander Kirk Thurston, Chaplain Dane Curato, Joe Parise, Edward Plourde, Marvin Bickford, Alfred McKenna, Leo Arsenault, Roger Miller and Fern Dumoulin. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery at a later date. A reception followed in the parish hall. Military honors were rendered by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program from Augusta and the American Legion Post 24 from Rumford. Services were under the care of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
