LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday for Donald E. Poulin at Holy Family Church, Prince of Peace Parish, after prayers at the Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Nathan March officiated.The Baptismal pall was spread over the casket by his children, Donald Poulin Jr., Donna Waggoner and Debbie Nye. Offertory gifts were brought to the altar by his daughters, Debbie and Donna. One of his great-grandchildren, Marissa Morgans, carried his U.S. flag into and out of church to honor her great-grandfather. Before leaving church, the flag was draped over his casket by the pallbearers who were, Derrick Nye, Donald Poulin Jr., Tyler Poulin, Paul Waggoner, Jamie Poisson and Jason Poisson. A reception followed at the Fraternal Order of Eagles on Sabattus Street. Committal services will take place at the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery Wednesday at 10 a.m.
