Madeline Theodora Mann
LISBON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Madeline Theodora Mann was celebrated by the Rev. Lionel Chouinard Thursday at Holy Trinity Church. At the beginning of Mass, Madeline’s children placed the white burial pall over their mother’s casket signifying her Baptism into a new life. During the Mass, the first reading was proclaimed by Madeline’s daughter-in-law, Marjorie Mann, the second reading was proclaimed by Madeline’s son-in-law, Lawrence Calder. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Madeline’s son, Gregory Mann and his wife, Doreen. Prior to the conclusion of Mass, Madeline’s son, William spoke on behalf of the Mann family and shared words of remembrance in honor of their mother. After a funeral procession to St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Waterville, graveside committal prayers were recited by the Rev. Daniel Baillargeron. Pallbearers were Mark Stowe, Greg, Charles and William Mann as well as Lawrence Calder and William Jones. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
