DIXFIELD — Funeral services for Lorraine P. Holman were conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov.14, at the Dixfield Congregational Church, Dixfield, with the Rev. John Gensel officiating.
Organist was Mrs. Mary Fenstermacher. Music selections were: “Have Thine Own Way Lord” and “Just A Closer Walk With Thee.” Special music “The Lord’s Prayer” was sung by the church choir.
Poems written by Lorraine Holman were: “Joy” read by Beth Holman, “A Mother’s Reflection” read by Kelli Parsons, and “Life” read by Jean Garrity.
Eulogy was given by Crystal Farwell and assisted by Jim Holman. Words of Remembrance were given by Russ Farwell, Leslie Skibitsky, Rick Ray, Keith Ruff for Class of 1945, Beth Holman, Paula Steele, and Garrett Ogawa.
Committal services were conducted by Rev. John Gensel.
Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery, Dixfield, Maine. A reception followed the services at the Dixfield Congregational Church. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin Street, Rumford, ME 04276.
