Carmen Blais
LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Carmen Blais was celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Daniels, Wednesday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul of the Prince of Peace Parish. Sisters-in-law, Claire and Joanne Blais draped Carmen’s casket with the burial pall that represents Baptism into a new life at the entrance of church. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Mike and Kathy Blais, and, words of remembrance were shared by Carmen’s son, Bernard Blais. After a procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, commital prayers were recited by Father Daniels. Then all in attendence were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Pallbearers were Richard, Danny, Barney, Brad, Mike and DJ Blais. Arrangements by the Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home.
