WILTON — Memorial services for Dorothy “Dottie” Crockett were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the East Wilton Union Church, with Pastor Steven Park officiating. Kathy Richard was the organist. A remembrance video provided by Wiles Remembrance Center started the services. The congregation sang “The Old Rugged Cross,” followed by a prayer led by Pastor Park, along with his remarks. Psalm 121 and 23 were recited by the pastor. Gerald Crockett, the “oldest” and “youngest” son of Dottie provided remarks on behalf of the family and several members of the congregation added comments as well. “Amazing Grace” was sung by the congregation and a recorded song by Ron and Debbie Hodge, “No Doubt About It,” concluded the services. Following the services, a time of fellowship and refreshments was held in the undercroft of the church. Interment will be on May 3 at 1 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Wilton. Cremation and memorial services were cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center of Wilton.
