Ann Gardner Brushwein
LEWISTON — A memorial Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Ann Gardner Brushwein was celebrated Monday by Monsignor Marc Caron at Holy Family Church of the Prince of Peace Parish. During the Mass, the first reading was proclaimed by Ann’s niece, Sarah Gardner, and the second reading was proclaimed by Ann’s nephew, Daniel Gardner. Ann’s niece, Laura Gardner invited all in attendance to join the Gardner family in fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. A delegation from the University of Southern Maine from Portland was also in attendance. At the conclusion of Mass, a family reception line was formed in the back of church so that those in attendence could greet the Gardners with personal words of condolence. A private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
