Geneva Hartford
LEWISTON — A celebration of life service honoring Geneva Hartford’s life was held Friday at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home with Chaplain Kathleen O’Wril presiding. During the service interludes of Ginnie’s favorite music that included “Could I Have This Last Dance,” “Let It Be,” “You’re Still the One,” and “Have I Told You Lately,” were played by pianist and family friend, Ross Swain. Words of remembrance were shared by Ginnie’s two sons, Tom and Dick Hartford. A video tribute produced by Ginnie’s grandson, Lucas Hartford was played that included her favorite song, “The Wind Beneath My Wings.” A delegation from the Woodstock Fire Department, and Hartford Insurance Co. were also in attendence. At the conclusion of services all in attendence were invited to greet the Hartford family with a personal condolence. A private committal was held later at Gracelawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Lucas, Elizabeth, and Gina Hartford, Glen Ridley, James Machowski and Ronnie Przech. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home.
