Fernande Q. Dionne

LEWISTON — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Fernande Q. Dionne was celebrated on Monday in the Chapel of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Prince of Peace Parish, after prayers at the Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Maurice Morin celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of Mass, Edward Couturier draped Mrs. Dionne’s casket with the burial pall that commemorates her baptism into new life. During the Mass, Claudette Lachance presented the first reading and Jay Couturier read the prayer of the faithful. The offertory was brought to the altar by Linda and Randy Camire. Words of remembrance were expressed by Jay Couturier after the committal service at the cemetery. All in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant after the services at the cemetery.
