Samantha Kivus, 10, participates during Jump Rope for Heart Week at Geiger Elementary School in Lewiston on Wednesday. Students raised $3,200 for the American Heart Association while collecting pledges and jumping rope, said physical education teacher Fred Royer. Kivus is a fourth-grade student in Molly Tripp’s classroom.
