NEW SHARON — The wedding of Megan Tara Driscoll and Leonard Robert Adams was held on Sept. 26 at the home of the couple in New Sharon. Pamela Adams, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Adams is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Driscoll of Greene. Mr. Adams is the son of Anthony and Pamela Adams of New Sharon.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full length gown in antique white and carried a bouquet of a mixed assortment of white roses, tulips and carnations.
Michael Adams served as best man for his brother. Mia Griswold, niece, was flower girl. Ring bearers were Keira Adams, daughter and Casey Adams, son.
A reception followed at their home, after which the couple traveled to Bar Harbor. They are residing in New Sharon.
The bride received a degree for registered nurse from Central Maine Community College and is employed as a registered nurse manager at Genesis Health Care.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington and Kennebec Valley Community College with degrees in the electrical field. He is employed at Saddleback and the Granary Brew Pub.
- Traffic on Route 120 between Andover and Roxbury was limited to one lane into Friday evening after a tractor-trailer driven by Jason Dyke, 30, of Rumford rolled over at about 11:38 a.m., spilling its estimated load of 80,000 pounds of wood chips in Roxbury, Oxford County Sheriff’s Sgt. Timothy Holland said at the scene. Investigators believe the trailer fell apart, spilling the load and flipping both trailer and the 2010 Peterbilt tractor.
