CASTINE — Four local students have been named to the dean’s list at Maine Maritime Academy for the first semester. Students named to the dean’s list earn a grade point average of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Jonathan Glatz, of Norway, is majoring in marine transportation operations. He is a graduate of Bucksport High School.

Gabriel Laroche, of Greene, is majoring in small vessel operations. He is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School.

Aline Spear, of Oxford, is majoring in small vessel operations. She is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

Kara Wood, of Otisfield, is majoring in marine biology. She is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
