RUMFORD — Edith Geary of Peru is announcing the engagement of her grandson, Lawrence J. Ward Jr. of Rumford, to Angela L. Gauthier of Rumford.

Mr. Ward is the son of Lawrence J. Ward Sr. and Kat Douin Ward of Rumford and Tammy White and Bill White of Peru.

A June 5 wedding is planned.
