BANGOR, Maine (AP) — The head of Eastern Maine Medical Center is receiving an honorary doctorate and delivering the commencement speech at Husson University’s graduation ceremonies.
The Bangor school is awarding 330 undergraduate degrees, 125 master’s degrees and two honorary doctorates at its 111th commencement Saturday.
Commencement speaker Deborah Carey Johnson, the president and CEO of Eastern Maine Medical Center, previously received a Master of Science in business degree from Husson, in 1987.
Husson will have a second graduation ceremony next Saturday at its Portland campus, where 82 degrees will be awarded.
