PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Air service between Maine’s Portland International Jetport and Toronto is taking off.
The first flight is due in from Toronto at about 4:40 p.m. Monday.
The return flight to Toronto is due to leave Portland at 5:10.
The twice-daily service will help connect the home of TD Banknorth Financial Group in Toronto with executive offices of TD Banknorth in Portland.
The Portland airport was without international service for a time. Now Toronto is one of two Canadian cities served from Portland. The other is Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
