The article “Study links pesticides to ADHD in children” on the front page May 17 was a cheap shot at American agriculture. The article completely undoes its own credibility by the second paragraph; however, in a single glance, the headline undermines consumer trust in the quality of produce.

The article states that, “The study couldn’t prove that pesticides used in agriculture contribute to childhood learning problems.” End of story for scientists trying to find the truth, but those people connected with that “study” are trying to cause distrust in agriculture and sound chemistry.

There is no truth to the headline, and the article was misleading.
