AUBURN – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday morning for Gilberte “Gil” Farrell at Sacred Heart Church, following prayers at the Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard McGlaughlin celebrated the Mass and a gathering of family and friends in the parish hall immediately followed the Mass. Interment will take place at a later date at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Augusta. Pallbearers were Mike Farrell, Charles Farrell, Sean Glick, Neil MacKay, Robert Price and Nathan Price. Arrangements were under the direction of The Fortin Group Funeral Home, Cremation and Monument Service of Auburn.
