RUMFORD — A funeral service for Thomas Richard was held Wednesday at SG Thibault Funeral Home. His daughter, the Rev. Sharon Walker officiated. Music selections were “Homesick,” “Amazing Grace” and “I Can Only Imagine,” sung by Tammy Schmersal-Burgess. Pallbearers were Christopher Fosdick, Tim Fosdick, Harry Richard, Bubby Richard, Ed DeRoche, DJ DeRoche, Gary Chiasson and Ted Walker. Interment was at St. John Cemetery. A reception followed at the Dixfield American Legion. Honors were rendered by the Dixfield American Legion at the funeral home and military honors were rendered by the Maine Military Honors Program at the cemetery.
