Leif Melhus of Norway graduated on May 21 from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York with a master’s degree in engineering. Melhus studied in the mechanical engineering department at the Kate Gleason College of Engineering.

He is the son of Brenda Melhus and Ola Melhus, both of Norway, and a 2004 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. He graduated with high honors and is a member of Pi Tau Sigma, the International Mechanical Engineering Honor Society.
