LEWISTON — A woman whose car was hit broadside by a motorcycle was listed Tuesday in critical condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Lilliane Morin, 75, of Bates Street was taken to Central Maine Medical Center Monday shortly before 7 p.m. with injuries from the crash. James Deen, 31, of 244 Lincoln St., was driving a blue Yamaha motorcycle. It hit the driver’s side door of the green Subaru Morin was driving when she pulled out onto Lisbon Street from KFC, witnesses said.
Resue workers tried to revive Deen at the scene using CPR. He was later pronounced dead.
Police continued to investigate and reconstruct the crash, Police Lt. Mark Cornelio said.
Police also were investigating a motorcycle crash in Bridgton that left one man dead and a woman injured.
Justin Dilks, 34, of Quincy, Mass died after he stood on the seat of his Harley-Davidson, waved his arm and crashed on Route 302, police said.
Harley-Davidson rider Marjorie Loonie, 45, of Melrose, Mass., also was injured in the crash, police said. Driving behind Dilks, Loonie lost control of her motorcycle when he crashed, police said. Neither was wearing a helmet.
Loonie was taken to Bridgton Hospital and then flown to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, police said.
