LEWISTON — Richard M. Chicoine, 45, of Nichols Street, Lewiston, died Thursday July 29, at his home after a short illness.

Born in Lewiston on Feb. 10, 1965, he is the son of Ivan and Elsa (Beaudin) Chicoine. Richard was educated in Lewiston, graduated from Lewiston High School and attended Thomas College. He worked as a paper maker and a fork lift operator. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed skydiving, flying planes and fishing.

He is survived by his parents, of Lewiston; one brother, Maurice Chicoine and his wife, Jeannine, of Mechanic Falls; and two sisters, Susan Turcotte and her husband, Peter, of Lisbon and Diane Robin and her husband, Richard, of Harpswell.
