NORWAY — The friends and members of the Second Congregational Church, U.C.C., Main Street, are accepting donations for their 10th annual Tent-n-Treasure yard sale. The congregation is already sorting, cleaning and pricing this year’s items. The sale will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28.
“This isn’t your mother’s yard sale. If you haven’t been before, don’t miss it. It is a huge event,” said Bruce Davison, chairman of the yard sale. “Often imitated, but never duplicated, this is a one of a kind event. It is unique in that all items are very reasonably priced, clean, sorted by category and in working order. Year after year, people lined the sidewalks waiting for our opening bell.”
Donations for the sale may be placed in the Parsonage barn. For more information or assistance with a donation, call the church office at 743-2290. Pick up service is available for large items.
Large appliances, clothes, computer monitors or televisions will not be accepted. The revenue from the yard sale will be used to support the many missions of the Second Congregational Church.
