- Alice D. Kennison, 98, of Woodstock, was presented with the Boston Post Cane on Aug. 9, by Woodstock Town Manager Vern Maxfield. She has lived in Woodstock off and on for 40 years or so, the last 20 years with her daughter, Carol Cox. She was born May 27, 1912, and is the oldest citizen of Woodstock at this time.
