LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday for Maurice E. Lacasse at Holy Cross Church, under the direction of the Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Marc B. Caron officiated, assisted by the Rev. Robert Lacasse, brother of the deceased, and the Rev. Paul Pare.

The first reading was presented by Sean Galipeau-Eldridge, grandson, and a trumpet solo was performed by Tom Murray, grandson. Words of remembrance were shared by Claire Murray, daughter, and the Rev. Robert Lacasse, brother. Bearers were Tom and Zack Murray, Sean Galipeau-Eldridge, Scott Galipeau, Jim Patterson and Dick Fortin.
