OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Josh Pomerleau rushed for two touchdowns and Zach Greene caught a 78-yard scoring pass from Luke Caron to lead Lisbon to a 43-0 victory over Old Orchard Beach in a Class C football game Friday evening.
Lisbon rushed for more than 300 yards and passed for 103 yards.
In a stifling defensive effort, the Greyhounds never let Old Orchard Beach get within 40 yards of the goal line.
After a scoreless first quarter, Lisbon (2-0) broke out when Tobey Harrington scored on a 6-yard run. Lisbon added two more touchdowns before halftime on Greene’s long reception and Pomerleau’s 30-yard dash to the end zone.
After Pomerleau’s second touchdown — a 25-yard run — increased the Greyhounds advantage to 28-0 in the third quarter, Lisbon scored twice more in the fourth quarter on 5-yard scoring runs by Ryan Riordan and Quincy Thompson.
Harrington kicked three extra points and rushed for one. Jordan Torres ran for a two-point conversion on the final touchdown.
