LEWISTON —  A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday for Louis L. Vaillancourt Jr. at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, following prayers at the Fortin Group Funeral Home. Msgr. Marc B. Caron officiated and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Richard Thibodeau proclaimed the reading and military honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors Program.
