The word “ridiculous” is thrown around a lot these days, but I can think of no other word to describe your front page headline article “LePage to return $191 to state,” along with the accompanying photo, that makes Paul look like a convicted murderer, ducking media while going into his sentencing hearing (Sept. 12). This was truly Huffington Post-esce.
Lepage made a mistake on his taxes. He’s not Charles Rangel and this story is about as useful to the upcoming gubernatorial election as $191 is to digging us out of this fiscal hole that the status-quo, career politicians have made for us.
It’s a good thing I still find the daily “Jumble” challenging because I no longer have an un-housetrained pet and, as such, am running out of reasons to keep our Sun-Journal subscrption.
