RUMFORD — A Candidates Night will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Mountain Valley High School’s Muskie Auditorium.

River Valley and Oxford County candidates running for public office will be attending, according to organizers. A set of prepared questions on jobs, tax relief, education, health and welfare will be asked.

The event is open to the public and is being hosted by the River Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Rumford Rotary, public access television, WVAC TV7 and Bangor Savings Bank.
