LIVERMORE FALLS — A public meeting for residents to voice opinions on police services has been canceled for Wednesday night.

Town Manager Jim Chaousis said something came up and he won’t be able to hold that meeting scheduled at Pike’s Corner Oasis on Route 133.  However, he will hold open office hours at Pike’s from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday. People may stop by and give him their comments for a study he is conducting per voters’ request.

He has collected a lot of statistics and if anyone would like to learn about them, they can just stop by, Chaousis said.

He plans one more day of open office hours on police services from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at the town office. A public informational meeting is scheduled for that evening at 6 p.m. at the town office.
