SABATTUS – A local man was killed Wednesday afternoon when he drove his car off Marsh Road and tore through a pasture fence.
Police said Andrew Webster, 33, of Sabattus, was dead at the scene when they arrived at about 1:30 p.m.
Sabattus police Lt. Matt Prince said Webster suffered multiple injuries from the wood beams that ripped into his Nissan Altima upon impact with the fence.
It was not immediately clear what caused Webster to drive off the roadway. Police said he was known to have medical issues. The crash remained under investigation.
