, he was in the middle of planning for the Celtic’s opener against the Miami Heat.

You handle a lot of estate jewelry. Anything weird every come through your door? Yes, lots of things. I have a cool three-ounce Chinese dragon made of pure gold on my desk right now and I just got a beautiful intense yellow diamond ring I am giving my wife for her birthday tomorrow.

What’s your favorite piece of memorabilia?

My favorite piece of memorabilia in the store is the game-used 1st base from the 2007 World Series. Just seeing all the dirt on it from all the guys who ran across it is pretty cool. For the piece I got personally, it would be the signs from vehicles of the 2006 MLB All-Star Parade in Pittsburgh, when my son rode with (New York Yankee Derek) Jeter and I rode with Big Papi (Boston Red Sox’s David Ortiz) in the parade.

How many Red Sox games did you go to this season? I went to at least six Sox games. My wife would know better as she seems to keep better track than I do (i.e.: reason for gift in question #1).

Get to meet anybody cool? Have met a lot of people throughout the years and they are all cool in their own way. I would say Terry Bradshaw was the funniest, Taylor Swift the sweetest and Bill Walton the most generous.

What the hell happened to the Sox, anyway? The Sox had a rough year. Every time I went to a game I had to learn the names of the new half of the team.

Does business ever get in the way of a good time? I was offered two sweet tickets to the National League Championship Series game Sunday night with on-field passes. Couldn’t make it. I also could have taken a spot to throw out the first pitch at game two of the upcoming World Series. Had to pass on that, too.
